Support Shopping Local on Small Business Saturday

November 5, 2015 by nobleowlpopcorn

Saturday, November 28 is Small Business Saturday, a day to celebrate the Shop Small movement to drive shoppers to local merchants across the U.S.

Small Business Saturday was started in 2010 by American Express to encourage people across the country to support small, local businesses. Over the past few years, the effort has gained popularity and in 2014 an estimated $14.3 billion was spent at small independent businesses on the day!

To help promote this initiative, we’ll be sharing a series of 5 reasons why shopping small is awesome on our Facebook page starting on Monday, November 23 so be sure to tune in.

And be sure to get out there on Small Business Saturday (and year-round) to support local! Find local businesses near you here.
